My LinkedIn posts are not getting likes or engagement

Written by Ami

It’s easy to get discouraged when your LinkedIn posts don’t get much engagement.

Remember likes and and comments are not the goal. We are not selling a one click and buy product.

The purpose of this content is to build familiarity and trust over time, so that when someone in your prospect pool is ready to speak to an MSP, your name already feels familiar and safe.

Why personal posts often perform better

The regular content we provide builds credibility and consistency, but of course personal content will often generate more engagement.

That’s why we recommend occasionally mixing in:

  • Team photos

  • Local events

  • Behind-the-scenes moments

  • Personal observations

LinkedIn naturally favours human content.

Why we recommend you post from your profile not company page

Personal profiles are where relationships are built.

Company page posts appear in feeds far less often and generally get lower reach.

Your company page still matters during the research phase - make sure its up to date, but your personal profile should remain the primary place for your regular content.

The simple rule

Don’t measure success purely on likes and shares.

Measure it by whether you are becoming known to the right people over time.
