AutoBlog for both B2B and co-managed content

You do not need a separate AutoBlog setup

Written by Ami

If you have both B2B and co-managed memberships and have already set up AutoBlog, to publish your blogs, it will work with content from both automatically.

Best practice is to keep your B2B and co-managed content separate on your website. because business owners and IT directors respond to very different language and positioning. If you want to keep them separate, there is a little editing work inside AutoBlog to make this happen, but you have options depending on your setup.

Option 1: Publish everything into one blog

This is the easiest option.

AutoBlog will automatically publish both B2B and co-managed content into the same blog.

Option 2: Separate your co-managed content

This is the recommended option.

Publish:

  • B2B content in your main blog for business owners

  • Co-managed content in a separate category for IT directors

You can then display the co-managed category specifically on your co-managed IT page.

This keeps your messaging clean and properly separated.

How to set this up

  1. Open your AutoBlog plugin settings

  2. Change the publish mode from Publish to Draft

  3. New posts will now appear as drafts instead of publishing automatically

  4. Edit each co-managed article and change its blog category

  5. Publish the article manually

That’s it.
