How do I use the monthly emails?

The purpose of the emails and best practice for using them

Even if you only have a few people in your email database, you should send them an email once a week. This is the perfect cadence and not too much.

The email you’re going to send them is “edutainment” - educational and entertaining. It also positions you as THE local tech expert in your area.

We recommend that you use a simple text template, this gives better results than a designed template.

How to:

1) Download the email content from the portal

2) Create a new email broadcast

3) Copy across the subject line and body of the email, and format the text. You should make it look like plain text as much as possible rather than use a fancy template

4) If there is one, insert the CTA link (the Call To Action - the line that’s highlighted in the content we give you). This should click through to your live calendar for a 15 min Zoom

5) Pick the name of the sender. This should be a person’s name, not a business name (typically it’s the business owner’s name)

6) Send from an email address that’s friendly but monitored if they hit reply (such as [email protected]). Keep the name and email address the same with every email you send

7) Review, preview, send yourself a test and make any changes

8) Send the email or schedule it for your chosen time
